AOL Mashups and Ambient IM
I met Gregory Cypes at the MIT Mashup Camp, and I had to have him on a podcast. Gregory is a seven year member of the AOL IM team, and is now working on the new AOL Web APIs. At MIT he showed his ambient IM application, listening on the chat conversation, looking for keywords, searching pictures on Flickr with those keywords and finally using them as a background for the chat window. Excellent.
