Top VoIP Influencers and Top VoIP Bloggers List from VoIP News

Sometime in the past few weeks, Owen Linderholm’s team at the VoIP news picked names for their lists of the top 25 VoIP bloggers and top 25 VoIP Influencers for 2007. With just a few exceptions of people and companies that we happen to like and respect that didn’t show up on the list, it’s extremely hard to argue with such an august list of bloggers, forward thinkers and industry movers. Maybe next year they should pick 30. Congratulations to all, and we hope they appreciate the recognition they deserve.

Then there’s us.

On behalf of our small, but dedicated, team at the Thomas Howe Company – we thank them for their generosity for including us on their list… we’ll try not to disappoint in the coming year. We’d also like to thank whatever vineyard made the wine Owen was drinking when he picked our company.

I found out about this honor on the road today. Pat and I jumped up and down in the car as we drove to a customer site, almost crashing the car and killing the entirety of the Thomas Howe Company executive team, proving yet again that stupid is as stupid does.

Congratualtions Tom & Pat. Your insightfulness and logic on the new approach to business applications via the web using open development tools has got to scare the pants off the majority VoIP vendors and service providers. The humor that you weave into your discussion on technology – which I must say often goes over my head, certainly helps me thinking that perhaps I actually do get it – with a smile. I predict you will have one heck of a succesful 2008 – and hope your blog and its readership take you to the next level of guru worthiness.

Wow – I am happy nothing happened to you, that would be another type of mashup….
Have a great year and drive carefully!
